Healthy Banana Stem Side dish
Banana stem side dish is a healthy side dish recipe, poriyal or palya. It can be seved has an accomplishment with samber rice, rasam rice.
- 1 200 grams Banana stem(chopped)
- 1 Chopped Onion
- 1 tbsp Grated Coconuts
- ¼ tsp Channa dal
- ¼ tsp Urad dal
- 2 tsp Oil
- 4 Dry Chilies
- Few Curry leaves
- Chopped coriander leaves
- ⅛ tsp Mustard seeds
- Pinch Turmeric powder & Samber powder
- Salt (As per taste)
Firstly chop banana stem and keep it aside.
Take a pan and add in oil, mustard seeds, channa dal and urad dal.
Add in chopped onions, curry leaves and salt as per taste.
Add in chopped banana stem, turmeric powder and samber powder.
Close the lid and cook for 5 minutes in low flame.
Add in grated coconut and garnish it with coriander leaves.
Now the banana stem side dish is ready to serve with samber rice or rasam rice.
