Tasty Green Raw Mango rice

Tasty Green Raw mango rice is a summer special rice as it is a summer season. We get verity of mangoes in this season. So ingredients used for preparing raw mango spicy rice are grated raw mango, green chili, curry leaves, onion, peanuts, chana dal, urad dal, turmeric powder, salt jaggery powder, cashew nuts, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, and chopped coriander leaves for taste and garnishing. Even we can add grated coconut.

Raw mango is my all time favorite favorite fruit, Even I love sweet mangoes too. Usually I like to have raw mango by seasoning them by little salt and chili powder, give a mix and allow it to rest for 30 minutes then it is ready to eat. It really tastes good.

After my exams I use to get summer holidays. So, I use to spend my holidays in my grandmother house (Place – Hoskote). She was a superb cook, daily she use to cook tasty delicious dishes for us. As it is a summer holidays my grandmother use to get this mouthwatering raw mango and sweet mangoes. Me and my cousins use to enjoy a lot.

Tasty Green Raw Mango Rice

Tasty green raw mango Rice is a healthy and tasty rice recipe, very easy and simple to prepare.

  • 1 cup Cooked rice
  • 2 tbsp Peanuts
  • 1 Chopped Onions
  • 2 Green Chilies
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • ¼ tsp Mustard seeds
  • ½ tsp Chana and urad dal
  • ⅛ tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 Spring Curry leaves
  • 2 tsp Jaggery Powder
  • ¼ tsp Grated Ginger
  • 5 Cashew nuts

For grinding

  • 1 cup Raw mango
  • ¼ tsp Mustard Seeds
  • ¼ tsp Cumin seeds
  • ¼ tsp Fenugreek seeds
  1. Take a mixer and add in chopped raw mango, fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, and mustard seeds.

  2. Make a paste. Keep it aside.

  3. Take a pan add in oil, mustard seeds, chana and urad dal, peanuts, onion, green chili.

  4. Now add in the grounded paste, close the lid and cook for 3 minutes in low flame.

  5. Now add the cooked rice and give a gentle mix. Serve hot.
