Egg less Butterscotch cake is one of my favorite cake recipe. I tried butterscotch cake for the first time and for my surprise it came out really tasty and yummy. So, I thought of sharing this recipe. So, the ingredients used in this recipe are (for base) all purpose flour i.e., maida, curd, vanilla essence, baking soda, baking powder, pinch of salt, powdered sugar, thick curd, vegetable oil, butter, corn flour, butter. Ingredients used for Butter Sauce are brown sugar, butter, vanilla essence, little water. Ingredients used for making Praline are sugar, chopped nuts like almond, cashew nuts, walnuts.

Eggless ButterScotch Cake
Egg less Butterscotch cake is just a variation of vanilla cake. Below is the step by step pictures and instructions are given, hope you all like it.
For Cake base
- 1 cup All purpose flour or Maida
- 1 tbsp Corn Flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- ½ tsp Baking soda
- ¼ cup Oil
- ½ cup Sugar
- ½ cup Thick Curd
- ¼ cup Milk
- ½ tsp Vanilla Essence
- ½ tsp Salt
Butterscotch Sauce
- ¼ cup Butter
- ½ cup Brown Sugar
- Pinch of Salt
- ½ cup Milk or Fresh Cream
Butterscotch Praline
- ½ cup Brown Sugar
- ⅓ cup Chopped Almonds, Cashew nuts.
- ⅛ tsp Vanilla essence or Butterscotch essence
Cake base
Take a mixing bowl and add in all the dry ingredients (above the list of ingredietns) and give a mix. Below is the step by step pictures and instructions are given, please refer below.
Add in all the wet ingredients and give a mix. Then add in all the dry ingredients together and give a mix without any lumps.
Pre the large bottom pan for 10 minutes and in oven under 180 degree Celsius for 10 minutes .
Now grease the cake pan with oil or butter or dust it with some all purpose flour.
Then pour the cake batter and allow it bake for 40 minutes under 180 degree Celsius.
Finally the Vanilla cake base is ready, allow it cool down completely.
Cut them into equal parts and keep it aside.
For Making Butter Sauce
Heat a sauce pan and add in brown sugar, keep stirring in low flame, until the sugar caramels(changes its color to golden brown)
Add in butter(room temperature), keep stirring until it melts.
Add in pinch of salt.
Add in Milk of fresh cream and give a mix. Finally switch off the flame.
Now the butterscotch sauce if ready.
Butterscotch Praline
Heat a pan and add in brown sugar, keep stirring until it sugar caramels.
Add in Vanilla essence and chopped almonds and cashew nuts. Switch off the flame.
Take a butter paper, grease it with butter and pour the praline on it and allow it cool down completely.
Once the praline cools down completely, crush them into small pieces.
