Healthy Coconut Chutney

Healthy Coconut Chutney is a South Indian chutney side dish and condiment, a very common recipe in the South Indian menu and the step by step pictures and instructions are given below. The chutney is made with coconut pulp ground with other ingredients such as green chilies, Coriander leaves. It is served with dosa, idli, vada, roti and even served with chapati and poori.

Coconut Chutney

It is the simple and tasty recipe. It is prepared with less ingredients such as coconut, coriander leaves, roasted channa, green chili,, salt, ginger.

For Grianding

  • 1 Cup Coconut chopped
  • ¼ Inch Ginger Chopped
  • 3 Green chili
  • 1 tsp Roasted Channa
  • 2 tbsp Coriander leaves
  • Salt (As per taste)
  • Water (As required)

Seasoning

  • ½ tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 2 Spring Curry leaves
  • 1 tsp Channa dal and Urad dal
  1. Take jar add in all the ingredients.



  2. Add seasoning and chutney is ready to serve.



  1. You can adjust the consistency according to your choice.
