Drum Stick leaves side dish or poriyal or palya is a healthy side dish recipe, it goes well with samber rice, rasam rice, and even we can have it with chapati too.
- 1 Big Bunch of drum stick leaves
- ¼ cup Toor dal
- 1 Large chopped onions
- ⅛ tsp Mustard Seeds
- 1 tsp Channa dal
- 1 tsp Urad dal
- 1 tsp Oil
- 3 Dry chilies
- ¼ cup Grated Coconuts
- Few Curry leaves
- Salt (As per taste)
- Water (As required)
Take a pan and add in oil, mustard seeds, channa and urad dal, dry chilies, curry leaves and salt as per taste.
Add in toor dal, and cook till 3/4th of the toor dal is cooked.
Add in fresh drum stick leaves and grated coconuts.
