Dil Kush or Dil Pasand is a grated coconut chopped dry fruits stuffed bread. So it is one of the sweet recipe. So the ingredients used in this recipe are, for filling we need dry grated coconut, tutti frutti, broken cashew nuts, raisins, cardamom powder, sugar, salt. And for making dough we need jowar flour, all purpose flour, salt, sugar, yeast, warm milk, butter, oil.
Instead of dry coconut can be replaced with fresh grated coconut, but shelf life will be one day. And even we can use desiccated coconut too.

Dil kush or Dil pasand is a sweet recipe, it is a grated coconut, dry fruits, tutti frutti stuffed bread recipe.
- Mixing bowl
- Oven
For Makig dough
- ½ cup Jowar Flour
- ½ cup All purpose Flour
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- ½ cup Warm Milk
- ¼ tsp Yeast
- 1 tbsp butter
- ⅛ tsp Salt
For Stuffing
- ¾ cup Grated dry coconut
- 2 tbsp Tutti Frutti
- ¼ cup Cashew nuts
- 2 tbsp Raisins
- ⅛ tsp Cardamom powder
- ⅓ cup Sugar
- Pinch of salt
Take a mixing bowl and add in 1/4th cup of warm milk, sugar and yeast, give a mix and allow it to activate.
Once the yeast is activated then add in jowar flour, maida i.e, all purpose flour, pinch of salt, some butter or oil. Knead into a soft dough, close it and keep aside for 15 minutes.
For Stuffing
Heat a pan (on low flame) add in grated coconut, tutti frutti, chopped cashew nuts and raisins, sugar, cardamom powder and a pinch of salt.
Give a mix till the sugar melts and combines together.
For baking
Pre heat the oven under 180 degree Celsius for 10 minutes.
Take a knead dough and cut them into equal parts.
Take one ball and roll it, then spread the prepared stuffing.
Take another ball and roll it and cover on the stuffing. Press and fold the edges with the help of your hand. Make small holes with fork, to allow the air to come out (refer below pictures).
Now bake it for 30 minutes under 180 degree Celsius.
Finally dil kush or dil pasand is ready to serve.
