Coriander Rice

Coriander Rice is a simple and healthy breakfast recipe. And even it is a best lunch box recipe too. It is very easy and simple to make. It goes well with papads, chips. So, the ingredients used in this recipe are cooked rice, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, green chilies, chopped coconuts, peanuts, oil, channa dal, urad dal, lemon juice, curry leaves, salt to taste.

How to make Coriander Rice

Coriander Rice is a very simple and easy rice recipe. It is best breakfast recipe.

  • Pan
  • Mixer jar
  • 2 cups Cooked rice
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice
  • Pinch of Turmeric powder
  • ⅓ cup Coriander Leaves
  • ¼ cup Chopped Coconuts
  • ¼ tsp Cumin seeds
  • 3 Green Chilies
  • ¼ tsp Peanuts
  • 1 tsp Channa Dal
  • ½ tsp Urad dal
  • ⅛ tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • Salt as per taste
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing
  1. Take a mixer jar and add in coriander leaves, chopped coconuts, cumin seeds, green chilies. Grind them and keep it aside.

  2. Heat a pan and add in oil, mustard seeds, channa dal, urad dal and peanuts. Fry till golden brown.

  3. Add in curry leaves, green chilies, turmeric powder and salt to taste.

  4. And then add in ground paste and give a mix. Fry for 2 minutes in low flame.

  5. Now add in cooked rice and lemon juice and give a mix.

  6. Finally garnish it with freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
