CHICKEN KALMI KABAB
It comes from two separate words, Kalmi which literally means ‘frying’ and Kabab meaning stick. As a whole, it means frying meat on a stick. We can do kalmi kabab with chicken breast or mutton pieces too. Usually kalmi kabab are served during parties, as a starters, side dish.
Ingredients:
Chicken leg pieces, thick curd, fresh cream, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, turmeric powder, cashew nuts, cumin powder, garam masala, red chili powder, black pepper, salt to taste.

HOW TO MAKE CHICKEN KALMI KABAB:
CHICKEN KALMI KABAB
Kalmi kabab is a delicious and tasty starter recipe. It is one of the best party starter recipe spiced up with thick curd and spice powders.
- Mixing bowl
- Frying pan
- 6 Chicken leg pieces
- 4 tbsp Thick curd
- 2 tsp Fresh cream
- 2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- ½ Lemon juice
- ¼ tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp Cashew nut powder
- 1 tsp Cumin powder
- 1 tsp Pepper powder
- 1½ tsp Red chili powder
- ½ tsp Garam masala
- 1 tsp Kasuri methi
- Salt to taste
- Oil as required

Firstly clean chicken leg pieces and keep it aside.

Then take a large bowl and add in thick curd, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, spice powder, cashew nut, salt to taste.

Then add in kasuri methi, chicken leg pieces. Give a mix so that the masalas are coated properly on all the sides of the chicken leg pieces.

And then allow it marinate it for overnight or at least for 2 hours.

Now heat the pan and add in oil and marinated chicken leg pieces and fry on all the sides of the chicken or till the it changes its color to light brown.

Finally Kalmi kabab is ready to serve.
