SPICY MUSHROOM ALOO PEAS MASALA

Is a best gravy recipe. It is a creamy and tasty masala recipe.  So, the ingredients used in this recipe are fresh mushroom, potatoes, green peas(frozen peas),cashew nuts, onions, tomato, cumin seeds, oil, green chilies, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, kasuri methi, kashmiri chili powder, garam masala powder, coriander leaves, water as required, salt to taste.

HOW TO MAKE SPICY MUSHROOM ALOO PEAS MASALA

Heat a pan and add in oil, cumin seeds. Allow it to splutter.

Now add in chopped onions, green chilies.

Add in ginger garlic paste. Cook till the raw smell goes.

Then add in cubed potatoes and green peas and salt to taste.

Further add in cut mushrooms and tomato paste. Give a mix.

And then add in required water, turmeric powder and chili powder. And then close the lid and cook till the vegetables are 90% cooked.

 

FOR MAKING CASHEW NUT PASTE

Soak for 2 hours.

Take a mixer jar and add in soaked cashew nuts and little water. And then ground them into paste.

Finally the paste is ready to use.

Add in cashew nut paste, kashmiri chili powder, garam masala, kasuri methi. Give a mix and salt to taste. Cook for another 2 minutes and switch off the stove.

Finally garnish it with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with chapathi or poori.

 

Spicy Mushroom Aloo Peas Masala

Spicy Mushroom Aloo Peas Masala is a best gravy recipe. It goes well with chapati, poori, dosa, pulov etc.

  • Pan
  • Mixer jar
  • 200 grams Mushroom
  • 2 Cubed potatoes
  • ½ cup Green peas
  • 1 Big chopped onions
  • 1 Tomato paste
  • ½ tsp Cumin seeds
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 2 Green chilies
  • 2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • Pinch of turmeric
  • ½ tsp Red chili powder
  • ¼ tsp Garam masala
  • ¼ tsp Kashmiri chili powder
  • 1 tbsp Kasuri methi
  • 2 tbsp Cashew nut paste
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as required
  • 1 tsp Butter or ghee
  • Freshly chopped coriander leaves for garnishing
  1. Firstly heat a pan and add in oil, cumin seeds, chopped onions, green chilies, ginger garlic paste. Cook till the raw smell goes.

  2. And then add in cut vegetables, tomato paste, required water, turmeric powder and chili powder, garam masala, kashmiri chili powder, kasuri methi and salt to taste.

  3. Then close the lid and cook till the vegetables are cooked 90 percent.

  4. And then add in cashew nut paste, and cook for another 2 minutes and switch off the flame.

  5. Finally garnish it with chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot with chapati, poori etc. of your choice.
