Simple Veg Fried Rice

Veg Fried rice is a simple and easy to make. We should not over cook the vegetables and rice while doing fried rice. Vegetables should be finely chopped. Vegetables should be stir fried in high flame.

In this recipe I have added vegetables like beans, carrot, spring onion, chopped garlic, onion and Green peas. You can also add sweet corn, paneer cubes, mushrooms etc. of your choice.

Simple Veg Fried Rice

It is one of the simple and tasty veg fried rice. If the Steamed rice is ready it hardly takes 10 minutes to prepare veg fried rice. It should be cooked in high flame. Stir fry the veggies without burning the vegetables.

  • 2 cup Cooked Rice
  • 1 Onion Chopped
  • 1 tsp Garlic Chopped
  • ½ cup Spring Onions
  • ¼ cup Carrot finely chopped
  • ¼ cup Beans finely chopped
  • ¼ cup Green peas
  • 2 Green chili
  • ½ tsp Pepper Powder
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 2 tbsp Coriander leaves
  • Water (As required)
  • Salt (As per taste)
  1. Take a pan and add in Oil, Green chili, Chopped Garlic, Onion.



  2. Add in veggies i.e., Beans, Carrot, Green Peas. Stir fry in high flame without burning the Veggies.



  3. Add in Cooked rice, Salt to taste.



  4. Add in Pepper powder, Soya Sauce and Spring onion.



  5. Simple Veg Fried Rice is ready to serve.



  1. You can also add paneer cubes, sweet corns, mushroom and capsicum.
  2. Even you can make egg, chicken fried rice also.
