Tapioca paratha is a healthy breakfast recipe, it is stuffed bread, i.e, cooked masala tapioca stuffed bread. So, it very tasty and yet healthy too. Usually parathas are served with thick curd or pickle or any gravy of your choice. And the ingredients used in this recipe are fresh tapioca, onion, green chili, little coriander powder and chili powder, cumin seeds, oil, butter, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, salt to taste, water as required, freshly chopped coriander leaves for garnishing.

Tapioca Paratha
Tapioca Paratha is a healthy and tasty paratha recipe goes well with thick curd or pickle or any gravy of your choice.
- Pressure Cooker
- Pan
- Tawa
- ½ Kg Tapioca
- 1 Chopped Onions
- Few curry leaves
- 2 Green Chilies chopped
- ¼ tsp Cumin seeds
- ¼ tsp Ginger garlic paste
- Pinch of turmeric powder
- ⅛ tsp Coriander and chili powder
- Pinch of high
- Salt as needed
- Oil as needed
- Water as required
For making Chapathi dough
- 2 cups Whole wheat flour
- ¼ tsp Salt
- Water as required
- 1 tsp Oil
Firstly prepared chapathi dough and keep it aside.
Then remove the skin of the tapioca, wash them, cut them into pieces and keep it aside.
Heat the pressure cooker and add in cut tapioca, turmeric powder and salt and then pressure cook it for 5 to 6 whistles.
Smash the tapioca without any lumps and keep it aside.
Now heat a pan and add in oil, cumin seeds, chopped onions, curry leaves, chopped green chilies, coriander and chili powder, turmeric powder, ginger and garlic paste, high. Fry till the raw smell goes.
Now add in smashed tapioca and give a mix, if required add in salt at this stage.
Finally garnish it with coriander leaves and allow it cool.
Now make small balls and keep it aside.
Now take a small portion of the chapati dough and stuff them with prepared tapioca mix, roll them and cook them on the tawa. Add in oil or butter on both the sides.
Finally serve them with thick curd or pickle.
