Taro Root or Senai Kilangu Fry is a healthy recipe, it can be served has an accompliment with samber rice, curd rice.

  • ½ Kg Taro Root or Senai Kilangu
  • 1 tsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri Chili powder
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • Salt as per taste
  • Water as required
  • ⅛ tsp Hing
  1. Pressure Cook Taro Root or Senai Kilangu for 1 whistle and peel the skin, cut and keep it aside.

  2. Heat a pan and add in oil, curry leaves, turmeric powder, chili powder, coriander powder, kashmiri chili powder, hing and salt to taste.

  3. Add in cut Taro Root or Senai Kilangu and give a mix.

  4. Roast Taro Root or Senai Kilangu till golden brown.

  5. Finally the healthy and tasty Taro Root or Senai Kilangu Fry is ready to serve.
