A dry fruit shake is a delicious and nutritious beverage made by blending various dry fruits with milk or a non-dairy alternative. Here’s a simple recipe for a basic dry fruit shake. This makes a healthy nutritious breakfast recipe for school kids and for grownups too.
To make healthy dry fruit shake, I have used soaked almonds, cashew nuts, walnuts, raisins, figs, dates, pumpkin seeds, melon seeds and cardamom powder for flavor and dry ginger powder for digestion.
Feel free to customize the recipe based on your preferences. You can add any dry fruits of your choice like pistachios, peanuts, black raisins etc. It is very important to soak nuts overnight or at least for 2 hours for complete benefit of the nuts.

Ingredients
Almonds 5 to 6
Cashew nuts 5 to 6
Figs 2
Dry dates 4
Pumpkin seeds 1 tbsp.
Melon seeds 1 tbsp.
Walnuts 2
Raisins 1 tbsp.
Pinch of cardamom powder
Pinch of dry ginger powder
Medjool dates 3
Water 1/2 cup
Organic honey 1 tsp
Directions
- Firstly, clean and soak dry fruits overnight.
- Transfer to a mixer jar.
- Pinch of cardamom powder for flavor (optional).
- Pinch of dry ginger powder for digestion (optional).
- Add medjool dates for extra sweetness. Then add little water and grind it into a smooth paste.
- Ground dry fruit shake. Add required water/milk/almond milk of your preferences.
- Transfer to a serving glass.
- Finally, add in honey and give a mix.
- Garnish it with chopped almonds and serve.
