Besan Ladoo or besan ke laddu recipe is a traditional sweet recipe made during festivals seasons. Besan laddu is a round sweet desert made with gram flour, sugar, cardamom powder, ghee, cashew nuts or almonds. Gram flour is roasted with ghee till the raw smell goes and then sugar and cardamom powder is added in to it, and then the small and soft balls are made out of it.

Ingredients
1 cup Gram flour, besan flour
1/2 cup Powdered sugar
1/4 tsp Cardamom powder
5 to 6 tbsp. Ghee
10 Cashew nuts
Directions
- Firstly, in a pan add in besan flour, ghee and roast it on low heat.
- Add ghee and give a quick mix.
- Stir continuously to prevent burning.
- The besan should turn aromatic and golden brown. This process may take around 15-20 minutes.
- Switch off the flame and add in cardamom powder. Transfer to another bowl and allow it to cool down completely.
- Add in powdered sugar.
- Give a mix without any lumps.
- Add chopped nuts. Give a mix.
- Then grease your palms with ghee or oil. Shape it into a small round ladoos by taking a portion of the mixture and roll it gently.
- Finally, besan ladoos are ready to serve. Enjoy.
