HOW TO MAKE VAZHAKKAI FRY | PLANTIAN FRY:

 

Raw banana fry
Firstly heat a pan and add in oil, mustard seeds, chana dal, urad dal, few curry leaves, and chopped onions. Fry till light brown.

Then add in turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, kashmiri chili powder, salt to taste. Give a quick mix.

Later add in rice flour. It helps to separate the raw banana slices from one another.

Give a mix and sprinkle little water till the raw bananas are completely cooked.

  • Pan
  • 1 Raw Banana or Plantian
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • ½ tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp Chana dal
  • 1 tsp Urad dal
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • Few Curry leaves
  • ½ tsp Red chili powder
  • ¼ tsp Kashmiri chili powder
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • Hing
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 to 4 tbsp Water
