Equipment

  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 Mixer jar
  • 1 Frying pan
  • Serving plates

Ingredients
  

  • 250 grams White Channa or Kabuli Channa
  • 1 Big onion chopped
  • ½ cup chopped coriander leaves
  • 6 to 8 Garlic pods
  • 2 to 3 Green chilies
  • Red chili powder As per taste
  • ½ tsp Coriander powder
  • ¼ tsp Garam masala powder
  • Pinch of turmeric powder
  • Few curry leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as required

Instructions
 

  • Firstly take a mixing bowl and add in soaked white channa, onion, few curry leaves, green chilies, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, garlic.
  • Transfer it into a mixer jar and grind it into a coarse paste.
  • In the same mixing bowl add in coarsely grounded paste, coriander leaves, salt to taste, turmeric powder, chopped onions. Give a nice mix.
  • Now add in bread crumbs and give a mix.
  • Roll it into a small ball shape and keep it aside.
  • Then heat a pan and add in oil, then flatten the rolled channa mix. Allow it cook on both the sides under low flame. If required add some more oil. Cook on both the sides.
  • Finally the healthy and tasty Kabuli channa Cutlet is ready to serve.
