Firstly rinse fish for 2 to 3 times and then marinate it with rock salt, turmeric powder, curry leaves. Allow it to soak for 15 to 20 minutes and then clean it with water. It helps in removing the smell of the fish.
Take a mixer jar and add in onion, garlic, green chili, few curry leaves. Grind it into a paste. Ground it into paste.
Take a mixing bowl and add in grounded paste, turmeric powder, kasuri methi, rosemary, butter.
Add in grated lemon zest.
Squeeze lemon juice and give a mix.
Add in turmeric powder, red chili powder, pepper powder, salt to taste.Give a mix.
Then add in cleaned fish pieces and give a mix.
Give a mix and allow it to marinate it for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Then heat a pan and add in oil, marinated fish. Cook on both the sides for 3 to 4 minutes under low flame.
Finally the Lemon Fish Fry is ready to serve.
