Pineapple Kesari

Pineapple Kesari is tasty dessert recipe with step by step pictures and instructions are given below. Adding pineapple to the kesari  bath gives extra flavor to the dessert. It is a very simple dessert recipe with minimal ingredients available in our kitchen. Usually pineapple kesari bath is served along with upma, it is a very popular combination served in South India.

Ingredients:

Fresh pineapple, rava, sugar, oil/ghee, turmeric powder, cashew nuts, raisins, grated coconut(optional).

Methods:

How to make Pineapple Kesari bath Recipe:

  1. Firstly heat a pan and add in ghee/oil, cashew nuts, raisins. Saute till it changes to golden color. Then keep it aside.
  2. Then in the same pan add in pineapple and saute it for 1 minute.
  3. Then add in required water and allow it to boil.
  4. Then add in rava and keep stirring to avoid any lumps.
  5. Then add in sugar, cardamom powder, cloves. Give a mix and allow it melt.
  6. Then add in fried cashew nuts and raisins. Give a mix. Then cook for another 1 to 2 minutes under low flame. Then switch off the flame.
  7. After switching off the stove, add in grated coconut.
  8. Finally the tasty Pineapple kesari is ready to serve.

  • Pan
  • ½ cup Rava
  • ⅓ gram Sugar (Adjust as per taste)
  • ⅓ cup Cut pineapples
  • 8 to 10 Cashew nuts and raisins
  • ⅛ tsp Cardamom powder
  • Pinch of turmeric powder
  • 2 Cloves (Optional)
  • 1 tbsp Grated coconut (Optional)
  • 2 tbsp Ghee or oil
