Ladies Finger Aloo Fry

Ladies Finger Aloo Fry is a healthy and tasty side dish recipe with step by step pictures and instructions are given below. It is very simple and easy to make. It goes well with sambar rice, chapati, rasam rice. So, the ingredients used in this recipe are ladies finger, potatoes, onions, tomato, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt to taste, water as required, curry leaves, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, channa dal, urad dal, oil.

Methods:

  1. Firstly clean and cut the ladies finger. Then heat a pan and add in cut ladies finger and dry fry for 5 to 7 minutes.
  2. Heat another pan and add in oil, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, channa dal, urad dal. Fry till it turns slightly brown.
  3. Then add in cut onions, tomatoes, curry leaves, red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala. Saute it for 2 minutes.
  4. Then add in cut potatoes, salt to taste, water as required. Cook till the potatoes are nicely cooked.
  5. Once the potatoes are nicely cooked, give a mix and add in cut fried ladies finger. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes.
  6. Finally garnish it with finely chopped coriander leaves.
  7. Finally the Ladies Finger Aloo Fry is ready to serve.
