Instant Raw Mango Pickle

Instant Raw Mango Pickle is a traditional and spicy recipe. It takes hardly 10 to 15 minutes to make this pickle. It goes well with curd rice, samber rice, chapati. It is one of the ingredient in Onam  sadya. This pickle is usually prepared during festivals, weddings. So, the ingredients used in this recipe are raw mango chopped, red chili powder, salt to taste, turmeric powder, oil, mustard seeds, fenugreek seed powder.

How to make Instant Raw Mango Pickle:

Raw Mango Pickle
firstly clean and cut raw mango into small pieces and add in salt to taste. Mix well.

Later heat a pan and add in oil, mustard seeds, chopped ginger, red chili powder, kashmiri chili powder, hing, turmeric powder, few curry leaves. Saute of 30 seconds on low flame.

Then add in cut raw mango pieces and give a mix.

Finally switch off the flame and add in roasted fenugreek powder, then give a mix.

Finally the Instant Raw Mango Pickle is ready to serve with curd rice, sambar rice, chapati etc., of your choice.

Instant Raw Mango Pickle

Instant Raw Mango Pickle is a traditional and spicy pickle recipe. This pickle goes well with curd rice, sambar rice, chapati. It can be prepared with minimal ingredients available at home and it takes hardly 10 to 15 minutes to prepare.

  • Mixing bowl
  • Pan
  • 2 Raw Mango diced
  • Salt to taste
  • ⅛ tsp Roasted fenugreek seed powder
  • ¼ tsp Chopped ginger
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • Few curry leaves
  • 2 tsp Red chili powder
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder
  • ⅛ tsp Turmeric powder
  • Pinch of hing
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  1. Firstly clean and cut the raw mango and keep it aside. (note: there should not be any water, it should be completely dry).

  2. Then take a bowl and add in diced mango and add in required amount of salt. Mix well.

  3. Then dry roast fenugreek seeds and ground it into a fine powder and keep it aside.

  4. Now heat a pan and add in oil, mustard seeds, chopped ginger, red chili powder, kashmiri chili powder, turmeric powder, hing. Saute it for 10 seconds.

  5. Later add in cut mango and give a mix. Then cook for another 2 minutes in low flame. Then switch off the flame.

  6. And then add in roasted fenugreek seeds powder and give a mix.

  7. Finally the Instant raw mango pickle is ready to serve.

  8. Later store it in a air tight container.

  1. It can stored for one month if it is refrigerated and stored in air tight container properly.
